Aspire A515-51G RAM

There's a few versions, I'm not sure the specific model but I have an i5-8250U CPU and 8GB of ram.
I'm curious about making this 16GB of ram? Can I open it up and what should I be able to install?
I think there's 4GB or soldered RAM (based on google search) but not sure on speed and if my spare slot is empty. I think I can add any size I like into this provided it's of equal speed?

Hi,
You have 4GB onboard memory and a removable 4GB memory module in your laptop, you can replace the removable memory with a 8GB or 16GB module with same specs, your CPU supports up to 2400MHz and avoid buying any modules with XMP profile, like Kingston HyperX or Corsair modules.

Download and install CPU-z, run it and check the slots 1&2 in SPD tab, you will see 4GB in one slot and the soldered memory will be blank in the other slot.

Thanks so I have 1 soldered 4GB and 1x 4GB in the other slot as the memory tab says 8GB. Am I right in saying I can replace the non soldered 4GB slot with another larger size?
I need 2400Mhz and if I got a 16GB RAM I would have 20GB?
I assume the 1200Mhz is just half of the 2400 based on dual channel? - I can't see any 1200Mhz RAM
Would this work?
