Acer Swift 3 (Model no. SF315-41-R9S1) completely dead and no LED indications

After using for some time, i shut down the laptop in the morning. Everything was normal. But in the evening, the laptop is completely dead. The power adapter doesn't charge the battery. No power and battery status lights! The Reset procedure with a paper clip doesn't solve this issue. Tried to charge the laptop for an hour or so to check whether the power brick is getting heated... But it's not showing any sign of heat. I am unable to figure out what component is failing.

    I disconnected the battery connector  inside and connected the charging adapter. But the laptop didn't turn on. There was no power ON LED indication as well. Power brick waa not getting warm.

    Check output voltage between charger plug's barrel and center pinhole with a multimeter. Should be 19vdc

    True.
    Will this laptop accept the charge from the USB Type C port? Can it be checked with a phone charger? (5v or 10v charger)

    No & No. For less than $15usd.  I'd just play it safe, bite the bullet, and try a new replacement charger. And to get free shipping, I'd probably throw in another $15 for another new multimeter  because no one can ever have too many multimeters.  :)

    I agree with you... sir,
    I will check the DC output voltage first and revert. 😊

    The charger pin shows 19.4 v. Please see the pic. 👇
  • Have you also tested the dcin-jack connector with the multimeter? Now, if the computer doesn't turn on, it could be some problem in the primary or secondary voltages.

    Can I remove those 2 screws and remove the strip over the DC-in jack?
  • It is located near the hinges, see:

    I disconnected the 4 pin-connector of DC jack and checked the voltage across each set of pins (2 black and 2 red wires). Each set shows 19.4 v. (i.e. Voltage across any 2 red-black cables out of 4 is showing 19.4v)

    Also look inside the jack to make sure the slider contacts and center pin contact are visible and centered straight like in the image below.

    Please see my previous post too. Voltage could be detected from the connector of the jack after the power adapter pin is inserted into the jack!

    >>> No>>> battery status lights! >>>

    Check to see if there are two small spring-loaded button switches located around the memory module socket.

    I can't locate those 2 switches. There's a protective cover over the processor and RAM chips. Should I remove the cover and check for those button switches?
