Up until a week or two ago everything was fine on my partners laptop (Aspire 5, i7 11th gen with 1TB SSD and 8GB memory. Windows 10) was fine but now is going really slowly.
I ran AS SSD Benchmark and got numbers way lower than my Swift 3 (Similar spec but its the Intel Evo version with 16GB memory, Windows 11).

We have checked all the usual stuff like new software, virus check, disk space etc you get tips on when you google the problem.

I did find a report that the last Microsoft cumulative update For Windows 11 was causing a known problems with some SSD's and going slow and the way it was written seemed to suggest this was also a known problem found previously for windows 10 but I can not seem to find anything saying that explicitly

Anything else I should try or other tips.

Forgot to mention, once I get the two screenshots of the benchmark on the same laptop I will post them.

Yes your M.2 NVMe Micron MTFDHBA1T0TC SSD is not performing to its full specs but, what are the full specs of your laptop and how many drives are you running on this laptop? Are you running the latest BIOS and all the latest Intel drives? As all that is a factor and the AS SSD Benchmark that you have shown should be in the range of 2800 Seq read and write for that drive. Try to enable TRIM within windows and see if that improves its performance. Btw and below is a caption of a 4 years old 2.5" 512GB Samsung 850 EVO installed into a 9 years old V3-571G laptop that has been used every day and this laptop has TRIM enabled and its also running its OEM drive as a slave .
