Laptop Battery is out of charge and won’t charge

Hello my laptop is out of charge on the battery and it won’t charge either when plugged in I’ve tryed many suggestions to try and fix this issue but nothing has worked the orange and blue light isn’t turning on either i dont know what to do someone please help

    OK, first thing, which Aspire mode is it? There have been many hundreds of different Aspire models over the years. Likely the model number is on the sticker that has the SN and SNID, it should be something like A#xx-xxx-xxxx. Does the charge light show at all when plugged in? Have you tried a different charger? Do you have any way to test the charger (like a VOM)? Chargers are the most common failure for this type of issue, followed by batteries.

    No the charging light does not come on when plugged in nor the Power light which is the blue light I’ve taken the back off I’ve tryed all recommendations online and nothings worked so I’m not sure if it’s the Charger wire or battery

    And the charging wire it’s self is very dodgey I think I’m not sure

    1. Troubleshoot hardware issues.
    2. Turn off the battery charge threshold.
    3. Perform a power reset on your laptop.
    4. Reinstall Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery.
    5. Update the driver for your battery management device.

    Since the charging light doesn't come on at all the most likely culprit is the charger. You don't tell us which Aspire model it is, so we have no way of telling the age of the battery. If it's old enough the battery could easily either also be bad or be the actual problem. I would expect the charge light to come on though if the charger were good and the battery bad. If you can tell us which Aspire you have we can check to see what charger is correct for it.
