Acer Spin 713 - What part of the chromebook makes the noise ?

HI @ all,

my question may seem a little bit odd, but however...

When I put my ear on the surface of the chromebook, on the level of the keyboard, I can hear a noise, that can be heard all the time. It's very quiet, and I don't feel discomfortable because of it. It seems to be not the fan, wich makes a continouus noise, but the Noise I'm talking about is somewhat discontinuated.
This noise is loudest and clearest on the lower left quadrant of the casing of the notebook, on keyboard level. 
I've heard this kind of noise also on my acer chromebook tab 10, which is completely fanless.

So, my question: Which component of the spin 713 produces this very quiet noise?

    Maybe the same thing that makes the noise when you put a seashell to your ear? I don't hear any noise in my Spin713 but I am old and don't hear well.

    Yes, you're right, it's a little bit "pickypicky" of me, to ask.
    I did not hear a rustle of a seashell. There are no moving parts within a seashell, which can responsible for that.
    I've tried to find a picture of the interiors of the chromebook, but I failed in this. Maybe it's some kind of controller which makes the noise? Is it, maybe, the ssd, or is it completely without noise?

    I'm going to assume you have one of the CP713-2W models... Here's a picture with it opened, ignore the highlight around the battery connector:

    The only moving part in there is the fan, though you could potentially call either speaker (they are at the bottom of the pic, just below the battery) a 'moving part' since they vibrate in order to create sound. I'm guessing the noise you are hearing is from the speaker, but I don't know what might be the cause. I wouldn't worry about it unless it get loud enough to be noticeable.

    I'm having the same issue! I hear a low buzzing sound from the top left quadrants of the laptop (behind the ESC key). The sound mostly comes when I scroll up and down a screen or if I play a video. So it's basically happening as soon as the computer has to do additional processing. The noise can be very annoying when you are trying to work in peace and quiet. 

    The reason I'm trying to find a solution quickly is that my product is still in warranty and I would want this "hardware" issue to be solved because it certainly sounds like a vibration over a long period of time will likely cause some damage or become louder - both unwanted scenarios. 

    This is my first time purchasing an Acer device. I hope I made the right choice.

    Any assistance from the Acer team would be highly useful!

    @ahmedtkhan this thread is close to a year old and already solved. You would be better served to start a new thread with your issue. Give us the full model number (something like CP7xx-xxx-xxxx), what you are having trouble with and what you have tried so far. You won't get any answers direct from Acer, since this is a community support board, but there are lots of us so you can often get it working again without having to go the Acer warranty route.
