Aspire 5 How do I unlock my windows 10 account?

When I got my Acer laptop three months ago (it's my first windows 10 computer), I set up a Microsoft Outlook account with a password but only a pin to access my laptop.  I have accidently entered the wrong pin too many times and the reset doesn't send a verification code to my mobile, I must have entered it wrong :(

The login screen doesn't give me an alternative way to log in; such as with my outlook password and if I use my daughters laptop to access my Microsoft account, I can't access the security settings because of the blocked pin and incorrect number to send the the verification.

Therefore what other option do I have to unlock my Winds account?

I am 82 and housebound and my daughter has a full time job, so my laptop is my lifeline to the outside world which I have now been unable to access for a month and my daughter has had to make a special trip so that I can write this.  Microsoft have no telephone numbers for me to call and it is extremely hard to use a small tablet to try and fix this.

Go here SIGN IN to your Microsoft Account. As and if you have registered with an Outlook account that automatically makes a Microsoft account so and if you want to login to your Microsoft account it will ask you if you ant a "single code" so say YES and then they will send you this message “We received your request for a single-use code to use with your Microsoft account.” that will be sent to your Outlook account for you to be able to login to the Microsoft account. So don't worry as your Microsoft account will not lock you out of the account permanently.

I did that but it wants to send a code to my mobile but the code never comes through as I think I must of entered the number incorrectly.

Pressing the windows key + R does nothing and I can't even get the computer to open up to a command prompt.
