I recently obtained an Acer R240HY monitor that is out of warranty and not worth the repair rates to take for someone to fix. The menu pops up often enough to be distracting and disappears just as quick. Other times the menu works as intended. From what I've been able to gather the issue is likely a stuck button even though none of them seem stuck, but it could also be just a bad menu board in general.
Is there any way to attempt to repair it myself without taking the entire thing apart? The monitor works in general so it's more a nuisance than anything else. I plan on needing to switch inputs though, so I can't simply disconnect the button board or anything like that.
Thanks for any advice or options.
