I've unzipped the latest file on the acer website for my system, and there is multiple files. Which folder/program do I run in order to update my BIOS?

for the Windows update of the last BIOS update for your Predator PO3-600 the R01-C1 has a guide called “ME FW & System BIOS Update SOP for Windows v3.10” so go to Appendix and follow that guide.

Yes, you basically go to the WIN folder and run the executable...

I don't believe there's a recovery option, though the BIOS update is pretty stable. As long as you don't power it off part way through or try to hack install a different version.
