Swift not utilising 1TB storage? How to increase max storage for system, Swift 3 SF314-43

Hi, I recently bought the Swift 3 SF314-43 and am having trouble working out how I can change the way storage is allocated.

I noticed that the storage categories of system & reserved, and apps & features are both almost halfway full, yet I am nowhere near filling my overall storage capacity - why is the max for these categories so small in comparison to my total storage? How do I increase the share of storage for these categories? (Screenshot below).

Thanks for any help!

@bse those bars are the comparison between that category and used capacity. This Windows 11's screenshot will give you a better understanding.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Yes, the bars only represent the various items in relation to each other. So in your case there is about half again as much space used for the system files as for the apps. You are doing great so far, with only a bit more than 60GB used on the 1TB drive. :)

    Hi @bse,

    1. Open File Explorer (Windows key + E).
    2. Click on This PC.
    3. Under "Devices and drives," right-click the drive you want to limit and select Properties.
    4. Click on the Quota tab.
    5. Click the Show Quota Settings button.
    6. Check the Enable quota management option.
