Hello, so i bought the benq2411k screen monitor (https://zowie.benq.com/en/product/monitor/xl-k/xl2411k.html) to be my extend monitor to my laptop, my model is:

PH315-51-78NP

I did opened another question before to check if i have hdmi 2.0 port and i do.
Also the screen supports 144 HZ through hdmi 2.0.

So the issue is that the hdmi 2.0 port doesn't actually work and when it's connected, two of my screens turning black (at first only my laptop showed the display, i tried to make the BENQ monitor as my primary one and now two of the screens just black when connected via the hdmi 2.0 port. (The cable i'm using is hdmi 2.0 too, a new one i bought with the new screen), any suggestions what to do? (seems i first need to change that when hdmi 2.0 connected to my laptop so it will choose my actual laptop as primary screen and not the BENQ one, tried so and didn't reach anywhere).

** a mention that the another hdmi ports (think the 1.0) in the BENQ screen are working fine when connected to my laptop, it just the 2.0 port that doesnt work as it should)

Thanks in advance.

That sounds like a faulty port 🤔 do you have another hdmi source to see if it works for that

Choosing the primary display shouldn't make a difference, but you should see the Nvidia gpu notification thing turn colourful to let you know the dedicated gpu is in use

When connected, what resolution / refresh rate is Nvidia selecting for the monitor for both the hdmi 1.4 and hdmi 2.0. you should  be getting 1080p 144hz on both ports but it looks like benq are sometimes a bit iffy with the refresh rates / hdmi implementation .

Hey, i'm using 1920x1080 res, somehow the hdmi 1.4 can handle 120 hz without problems, which i'm pretty fine with that
