My laptop (Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52 Intel Core i7 9750H RTX 2060) gets BSODs on any gaming activity. This problem started about 4 months ago. I initially thought it was due to overheating so I got it repasted at a service centre but the problem still persists even though my CPU temps are quite low now. The BSOD errors range from Unexpected Store Exception, Critical Process Died, Kernel Data Inpage Error and so on. Please let me know of any possible fixes to this problem. Thanks!

@rAxXtaG my best advice its for you to backup anything you need and perform a stock recovery clean install (assuming your recovery partition its still intact) ALT+F10 on boot and delete everything to completely rule out any software issues also after disable windows updates completely and only update whatever you need when needed manually good luck :)

Hi, thanks for replying! I did perform a clean install recently, and I only have the applications I need on my device, but that didn't seem to help a lot. I'll try it again if that's what you suggest and let you know if the condition improves. Is there any chance of it being a hardware issue that can only be fixed by replacing components?

rAxXtaG if after a clean install you have the same issues its most probably hardware bare in mind if you perform a stock recovery you have to select delete everything option not keep my files as that will not solve anything :)

Hey, so I think I have some idea what could be faulty in my laptop. I think the power adapter is the major suspect here. I tried playing the games that crash on battery (adapter unplugged) and they were working normally. Playing the games plugged in seems to be causing the crashes. I'm 90% sure the problem isn't software related and is with the adapter unit itself. That being said, all the other applications work fine plugged in. What do you think about this?
I tried contacting support but they said the problem could be game related which I think is highly unlikely.

rAxXtaG the only way to be sure if your adapter its faulty or not its to get a voltmeter and check the output voltage to make sure its outputting the correct one or not :)
