I don't believe you can upgrade the RAM, but can you upgrade the eMMC memory for an SSD?

"NO" the eMMC cards that come in different sizes and they are all embedded and soldered onto the motherboard in what ever size that your Spin 713 CP713-2W-3311 came with. Same with the RAM e.g. 4 GB, 8 GB or 16 GB on-board LPDDR3 SDRAM. To change the RAM and the eMMC you need to change the motherboar with a higher spec or get an experienced tech to change them.

Some of the CP713-2W models do have a M.2 slot that supports an NVMe SSD. It looks like, from the FRU list, they only have one MB for the series so there's a real good chance the M.2 slot is there. That would allow you to add a SSD to the system, giving you both the eMMC and the SSD.
