This has been the case for the last few weeks. When I try to adjust the angle of the screen, the screen starts flickering and if I move it to a different position, it comes back to normal. No issues then. So, I think the display is fine and some issues with cable mostly(Guessing)
It is only happening sometimes when I start moving the lid.
My device went out of warranty a couple of months ago. So, if the fix is not complex, I'll try to fix it on my own else get it done with a local technician who might have better tools and experience or should I contact Acer. As this is my primary and only laptop, I cant wait for longer delays. And can you also estimate the repair costs, please?

Yes, there are only a couple of faults that usually cause this type of problem, either the cable is starting to get internal breaks on the wires or the cable is pulling on it's connector at one end or the other. The procedure is essentially the same whether replacing or reconnecting. You basically take the bottom cover off, disconnect the eDP cable from the motherboard and any other cable that routes up through the hinge area. Next you remove the hinges from the bottom case and pull the display assembly off. The display disassembly is a little tougher, since the two halves use an adhesive to stay together rather than mechanical latches, so careful prying is required. Once the display is apart you have access to the other end of the eDP cable. The Acer part number for the eDP cable is: 50.H3UN5.001 or 50.H3UN5.002 depending on who manufactured it, they are interchangeable.
