Hi guys. Recently i bougth my Predator Helios 300 PH 315-53 and i'm having some problems with the fps on a lot of games.

Forza Horizon 5 High Preset FHD i'm getting something beteween 60 and 70fps, but having a lot of stuttering. It's playable, but also unstable.
In other competitive games, like DotA 2, on Ultra Preset (i know that this is not the best way to play an competitive game, but i'm just benchmarking to test the laptop) and i'm only having 60 ~ 80 fps and the fps drops to 40 fps on teamfights.
Battlefield V is unplayable... The laptop don't keeps 60 fps (even on Low preset).
Hunt Showdown is holding 50fps on minimun preset.

How can i fix this? Actually, that's my setup:
Laptop: Acer Predator Helios 300 PH 315-53
CPU: Intel Core i7 10750H (6c/12t)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB
RAM: 1x16GB 2933MHz
SO: Windows 11 (i already tried W10, but same results)
BIOS: v2.04 (updated to the lastest version)
Nvidia Drivers: v496.49 (lastest version)

Common questions:
1. Yeah, the Vsync is already off on all games.
2. Yep, i'm playing with PSU pluggled (not on battery).
3. I already formatted the computer from scratch.
4. My power plan is in Windows performance mode.

Can this be caused by the single channel?

aeSeixas you should always be on dual channel mode i recommend getting a proper dual channel set hyperx or vengeance and forget about your sibgle sodimm or even sell it to someone with 1 single slot make sure youre running on the dgpu set it up manually on nvcp per app/game and also check your temps to see if youre not thermal throttling optimize your windows undervolt with TS and if still needed repaste it with kryonaut or similar if youre able to without voiding your warranty also i dont recommend win11 get back on 10 if you want to get the best performance and compatibility good luck :)

The temps are okay, i'm using MSI Afterburner to see... The CPU frequency is mostly between 3.7 and 4.2GHz and the temperature in gaming is something like 75 ~ 88ºC

I already tried ThrotleStop, but i'm newbie on these things and my laptop just crashed sometimes.

I also have an desktop machine that runs better then my laptop:
    CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
    GPU: RX 590 8GB
    RAM: 2x8GB 3000MHz

I know that laptops can be worst than desktop pcs, but is that right? An 2060 be better than a RX 590?

Yeah as i said make sure your games are running on the dgpu also the dgpu shouldnt go above 70/75 as it will thermal throttle near 80'ish and the cpu 85'ish max :)

How can i be sure that the games are running on dgpu and not igpu? And what is nvcp? Nvidia Control Pannel?

nvidia control panel and you can also check with hwinfo msiab or even on the task manager which gpu its being used

setup every game/app manually to use the DGPU

    I'll do that.

I've also noticed something weird happening in games. some games (like Forza Horizon 5 itself) run the game at the same framerate in both preset low and preset high. I can't get fps anymore by lowering the settings

bro,, your CPU reaching above 80C in 20 min. to solve this issue you have to repaste the CPU and GPU card and don't touch the pink paste it will damage the system temperature.
put CPU in 3.7 or 3.6 Ghz.

aeSeixas as i suspected youre thermal throttling on most probably both cpu/dgpu as i stated above you need to optimize/undervolt/repaste :)

just to confirm the above cpu core/cache has to be the exact same values (either increasing or decreasing it has to match) you also need to undervolt the igpu i suggest you find a pre made conf for your cpu in the fb group and go from there tweaking it manually yourself :)

Look at this framerate, guys... I'm playing (or trying to play) Battlefield 2042 and my Helios don't even can keep the 60fps... Everything on low specs, even the resolution (1024x768). Is this normal? :/ at this

how your GPU 35%? it must be above 90%. have you change Nvidia control panel putting the game on high performance?
    Also download Nvidia experience.

For the Battlefield 2042 try to disable Intel Graphics in device manager or using an external monitor.

Using an external monitor, i can get more fps. But, what's the point of having a 144hz screen and not being able to use it? Or else having to take a monitor everywhere I go
