I bought the swift 3 sf314-43 10days ago. Starting 3 days ago my laptop has been giving either a white or a black screen when waking up from sleep. Sometimes it doesn't even wake from sleep and the system says it has to restart. These photos are just some of the screens i get when waking my laptop from sleep or when starting it up

    Hello!!

    @JeanLeonard

I understand that display shows black & blue screen, when waking up from sleep. To rectify this issue, I recommend you to try resetting the Power Options settings in your computer.

Follow the below steps to reset the Windows 10 power plans Balanced, High performance, Power saver and Ultimate performance to default settings.

    1. Open Windows 10 settings

    2. Open System settings

    3. Open “Power & sleep” and there “Additional power settings”

    4. Open power plan settings

Select the power plan you want to restore and click on “Change plan settings”.

    5. Click on “Change advanced power settings”

    6. Switch selected power plan if required

“Advanced power settings” uses one interface for all power plans. If needed you can switch to another power plan here.

    7. Click “Restore plan defaults”

This will revert any changes you might have made to the selected power plan and restore its default settings.

    8. Confirm to restore default power plan settings

    Hope this helps you!!

    Regards,

This didn’t work. After waking up from sleep it just shows the lock screen image for a while then the screen goes black but the mouse is still visible

    Hi @JeanLeonard,

    Try to do power drain,

    1. Shutdown the unit.
    2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit.
    3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds.
