Hi,

Some people has a battery limitation option in Care Center, what I don't have at the moment. Should I search for a fix, or I should accept the idea that my model doesn't has that option for Care Center?

PrskMate care center its useless the only useful options are to check the model the serial and snid nothing else also you should always be on AC the other care center features were made for old laptops from 2008 and older they arent made for any predators disregard the battery it wont overcharge as i said alwasy use it on AC and if you need to use it on battery make sure its for emergency only and really light works as it will damage your battery life span considerably over time if you keep using it on battery i have mine always on 24/7 since i got it in 2018 non stop on AC and i only have a 8.7% battery wear you just need to re-calibrate your battery once every 3/6 months and thats it hope this explains your concerns also keep an eye on your battery wear with hwinfo or battery bar pro if by any chance your battery goes over 20/25% its time to get a replacement asap good luck :)

Well if it dies, I will probably not invest in a new battery or another pred helios, but thanks the advice. I can't imagine how it's possible to run it always plugged in without issues for a longer time.

PrskMate its simple internal lithium-ion batteries were designed to be used always plugged in technically they arent batteries at all the main purpose its to aid the adapter with extra more power when this one cant provide enough power to the cpu/dgpu they are mainly a add on (kinda powerbank) that should be always on AC and no they will not overcharge as i stated u just need to calibrate it properly every 3/6 months depending on the usage so no theres no reason to be affraid also never remove a internal battery and if its damaged/faulty replace it asap the laptop will not work properly on AC with a faulty/removed battery and the batteries are not that expensive if needed to be replaced any £50/£60 or even cheaper will do but as long as you maintain it properly you wont have any issues gaming laptops need constant maintenance they arent like all the other normal laptops if you dont maintain it properly wont last long but most ppl dont seem to understand that  :)

Last year I wanted to buy a second battery to have a backup, since I need many times to be on battery. The guys from Acer told me yes I can buy one for around 150 euro, so yeah, well no thanks. Anyways, yes I maintain mine, but I think this is the last time I buy a windows laptop. I have a desktop p.c. also Predator, that is fine, but for a laptop, I think I will simply go with a mac. At least they last long, powerful enough for me, batteries are good. And for me it's okay, because I bought powerful computers for creating graphics, not much for gaming, and the games I play, you have it for macs too. Like this there is no reason to have a laptop, for like an hour of battery if you use it, around maximum 4 if you just look at it how it's on. Like this it's almost senseless to have a laptop. I changed the cam, well from Acer I bought for money a cam, they gave me a very bad quality one for a lot of money, replaced it myself in the laptop, but since than my screen has these light spots on the screen corners. So I will prefer to have something I don't need to maintain all the time. I changed the paste on the cpu and gpu 2 times a year already. It's just time consuming.
