Why can't the developers have the keyboard lights stay on when commanded?

if you want the lights always to be open. Launch nitro sense from taskbar or the search bar. Now go to the settings icon. and press backlight off after 30 seconds so its off. Now you can control the keyboard from fn + f9 and fn+ f101
