Nitro 5 AN515-55 - Multiple monitors

Hi, new to the forum and wondering if anyone could shed some light. My employer recently got me a Nitro 5 AN515-55 for working from home and I'm looking to set up with 2 external monitors.
Obviously the HDMI to monitor 1 works fine but wondering how I go about connecting monitor 2?
Laptop specs say it has "
USB Type-C port supporting: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps)" which I thought would enable me to connect via USB C to HDMI adaptor. But when I do this I get an error saying:

Display connection might be limited
Make sure the DisplayPort device that you're connecting to is supported by your PC

Does anyone know if this is a problem with the adapter or if it's just a case that the laptop won't connect to 2 external monitors??

Many thanks.

Were you able to figure something out? I tried Usb 3.0 to HDMI adapter but once I connect both monitors it only extends the HDMI port. I shuts down the other one.

I bought a generic usb 3.0 to hdmi adapter off amazon, installed the driver that came with the adapter but my 2nd monitor is still blank, anyone know a usb adapter that will work?

I also tried daisy chaining the two monitors together via the display port on each and then connecting it to the hdmi on the laptop with no success.

Trying to have to monitors with my laptop, so any advice would be hugely appreciated!

    Thanks!

I never managed to figure anything out here to be honest, I've annoyingly just had to get used to the laptop and 1 external monitor. Would still be all ears if anyone else could shed some light...

Since your laptop doesn`t support native video out via USB, you have to use DisplayLink adapter. Any of those will work - https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/displaylink-products-list?field_displaylink_category_value=usb_adapters
