Hi, I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 G3-572 with 256GB HDD and 1T SSD. Is there any way to use my SSD as C drive (boot, windows, etc) and my HDD as D drive? Or can I just replace the HDD with an SSD?

    @badinhoc

    Sure you can for both questions.

    Since Acer Predator Helios 300 G3-572 is a high end laptop, I think it must have at least one M.2 slot too .

    Are you sure that the drive you use everyday to bootup is from a 256GB spinning HDD and not from a 256GB M.2 NVME SSD ( 3,400 MB/s read)?
    If  the bootup time is half minute or less, then you are probably using M.2 NVMe SSD as the boot drive.

    Normally when manufacturers ship their PCs with more than one drive, they use the fastest drive as the boot drive.

    A 2.5" SATA3 SSD is slower than M.2 NVMe SSD, just having 550 MB/s read.

    Double check that or send us the BIOS pictures indicating the page having drives that you have before we will proceed further.
