I trying to upgrade my Acer Aspire 3 A315-41-R287 with 8gb DDR4 2666 RAM but I keep getting blue screen whenever Im putting it into the laptop the first blue screen is about video tdr failure so I updated the video card now Im getting memory management error. Is it because the RAM is higher than the RAM pre installed in the laptop that why Im getting bluescreen?
Can I overclock the ram frequency thru Bios for the RAM to be compatible??

Any sodimm 2400MHz or higher frequency should work fine.  What brand & size is the original RAM in the laptop? What brand is the new RAM? These are the memory modules that have been shown to compatible with your laptop model. Other brands with similar specifications should be compatible too.

Mixing high speed DDR4 modules can sometimes be a little touchy when not matched. Are you trying to run it with a 4GB sodimm module? What is brand and model?
