Does laptop Aspire E14 E5-475G-50N0 support 144Hz?

I have an Aspire E14 E5-475G-50N0 few years old and just bought an AOC 24G2 monitor that has 144Hz screen refresh rate. However the 'display adapter properties' for the 'Generic PnP Monitor' has max 120Hz option, and its adapter type shows Intel HD Graphics 620.
I've already done the following steps:
- updated both Intel and Nvidia GeForce 940MX drivers
- configured Nvidia Control Panel i.e. 'Manage 3D settings' to use 'High performance NVIDIA processor'; 'Set PhysX Configuration' to use 'GeForce 940MX'

I'm using the HDMI port and cable. Please advise what I missed to enable 144Hz refresh rate.
