Hello,
I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51 laptop with an I5-9300H. There have been problems with temperatures since the purchase, and all the solutions i tested did not work.
The temperatures fluctuate around 95 degrees, which brings a huge drop in gaming performance (the processor reduces the frequency to 0.9 - 1.2 GHz at these temperatures, CPU totally does not keep fixed frequencies in Throttlestop).
I have tried to use Throttlestop using several configurations and watching some videos related to this laptop. On the CPU Core / Cache - 125mV, the temperature drops by 1-2 degrees max.
When laptop has been purchased without changing power settings / using undervoltage programs, using the laptop in games for more than 20 minutes resulted in overheating and turning off the laptop.
I also reinstalled the system, the effect is the same. Increasing the fan speed has no effect. GPU temperature is okay.
What should I do in this case? I know that for some people the replacement of the paste with the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut was effective, but I do not know about the warranty.
I've already looked at dozens of solutions, but none of them helped, so i ask the question myself.
Thank you!
