Hi everyone,

I bought thermal paste from BestBuy which is XTM50 CORSAIR. I clean the old thermal paste with alcohol and apply XTM50 for CPU and GPU. It's still not work when I play game. How to make CPU lower temperature when I play game?

    ivan_ta,

    Try this
    1. Keep your system away from vents and windows. ...
    2. Give your system some breathing room. ...
    3. Close your system's case. ...
    4. Clean your fans. ...
    5. Upgrade your CPU fan. ...
    6. Add a case fan. ...
    7. Add a memory cooling fan. ...
    8. Check your system's power supply fan.

How do you suggest adding a case fan or memory cooling fan to a laptop?

ivan_ta if you want the best thermal paste use kryonaut or similar also use the spread method only a thin layer covering both diodes its enough too much paste its bad the same as too less as i said get a proper thermal paste and make sure to apply it properly

As i said too much its bad and also depends on the paste youre using you have way too much thermal paste that would create a bad thermal dissipation between the diodes and the heatsink same happens if you have not enough  just get some kryonaut and use the spread method as i advised above by the pic you have posted you have made a hell of a mess over there :p  good luck :)

What's the CPU clock speed you are running? If above 4.0 ghz it is easily hit 92°C. I'm having same problem with you. I capped my CPU clock boost speed to 3.3 ghz and my max CPU temperature only 82 °C during heavy use. Btw I'm using throttle stop for capping.
