S7 Completely dead.

Folks,

I tried to turn on my S7-191-6447 today, and absolutely nothing happened.  I figured that I must have completely exhausted the battery somehow, so I plugged in the charger, and I'm still getting absolutely nothing.  No lights are showing that it is actually charging or is otherwise alive.  And yes, I've confirmed that I do actually have the charger plugged in.

I've pushed and held down the "battery reset" pinhole for four seconds, a number of times.  And I've held it down as long as, say, half a minute.  I've plugged in the external battery, which has most of a charge.  No matter what I do, the S7 is just completely dead.

The S7 is right about two months old (seems to be a popular failure time), and I've used it only sparingly.  It was fully charged the last time it worked properly, which was a few days ago.  Otherwise, it has spent its entire life safely protected by a sleeve or case of some kind.

So, is there anything else I can try?  Or is it just time to send it in for repair, and start waiting for them while they don't have any parts to repair it with?  I would appreciate any sage words of advice anyone could send me.

Thanks!

Doesn't sound good especially if no lights are showing when it is on charge. I think it will have to go back. You said you held down the battery reset for 30 seconds. I assume you also did the same with the power button.

Yes, I did the same with the power button.  I will give both the battery reset and the power button a full working over before I send it away, that's for sure.
