Aspire 3, A314 Series, 'Memory Management' blue screen issue.

Hi,
My Acer laptop is about 6 months old, lately, I keep getting a blue screen, with 'Memory Management' fault written across the bottom.
The laptop then restarts itself and everything is fine again.
Do I need to update any software to stop this from happening?
I don't really use the laptop for much, except a Word and Excel documents.
Thanks in advance!
Penny.

Open Device Manager. Do you see any red or yellow warning symbols like this?

Thanks for your prompt reply, Jack.
I am currently away from home, but will definitely check it out on Friday when I'm back.
Does the symbols mean there is an issue with a device - it needs replacing or new software??

    Hi @PennyCrayon,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.

Might simply need to update the video graphics driver software with or without a symbol. A symbol may suggest another device may be indirectly causing the issue.
