Quick note on the "new" drivers (Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 RTX 3060 i5 10300H)

Hello! As someone who's frustrated with Acer with their slow and outdated VGA Drivers, I saw that there are "newly" uploaded drivers with the same versions now on the Official drivers page for the AN515-55.

So I downloaded this even if I have the same version, thinking that this might have been patched for some reason.

After installing the 457.71 RTX 3060 drivers, I opened the NVIDIA Control Panel to check, but it keeps on crashing when I open it. I tried playing a game, but the game crashed too.

So I uninstalled it, installed the old drivers (thankfully I have them and didn't delete them) and now it's crashing too. I tried the 462.62 drivers for the RTX 3050, same problem.

The only way I fixed this was when I used DDU to clean the nvidia drivers, installed the old driver (457.71 June 2021), installed the NVIDIA Control Panel, GFEx, and now everything works like before.

So what gives with these newly uploaded drivers? I'm sure Acer won't want a whole lot of warranty claims to handle.

Quick note: my BIOS version is still 2.03 (2.06 had issues as I'm told), and vBIOS is the one that gives me 95W TDP on my RTX 3060.

Hope we get newer NVIDIA Drivers or at least something close to the latest, not reuploading the same driver version that basically gives us headaches.

    Wait, I might be stupid.

These drivers are for Windows 11, no wonder it's crashing my system.

    Lol.

Still, ACER please give us updated nvidia drivers! These drivers are a year old now. Please let us have something new!
