I've got the no bootable device error occurring on my nitro 7 and I've tried opening bios and was going to change the UEFI settings to legacy however legacy doesn't exist as an option. I tried pressing f9 and load default configuration thing that also doesn't work I also tried disabling and enabling secure boot that also doesn't work. The system time also seems to be correct so thats probably not the issue. I really need to use my laptop as I have assignments to be hand in tomorrow and also attend my online classes and tutorial . Any help here will be much appreciated 🙏 🥺😭

This kind of problem usually associated with a bad drive or loose connection at the drive. Since you have a laptop, bad connection type of problem is not that common. My older desktop PCs always have this kind of problem as I switch between drives frequently and the connectors got worn out more than other people.

My suggestion is to open up your laptop, spray some electrical contact cleaners to the connectors and then reseat the connectors a few times. Hope this will solve your problem instead of having a failed drive.

Thank you for replying as any help and suggestions means alot... as I'm desperate at this point lol. But ngl I'm very hesitant about having to open up my laptop to fix this problem not to mentioned that I'm stuck in lockdown and not having the proper equipments for the suggestions above. I would prefer to fix this problem within the computer/bios settings etc but if i really have to and that is the only way to fix this problem i will do so. Again thank you for your help.

Go to Youtube ( or Acer Support Videos under Assistance by Acer on the right pane here ), type AN-715-51 and you can see some videos there about how to upgrade or take down of the laptop. Once the back is opened, you can reach the drive and check.

It is not difficult as long as you have the will to do it.
