Hello,

With regards to the 2021 Helios 300 (Model Name: PH315-54-760S), can someone tell me the exact model number of the 16GB RAM that the laptop comes with, as well as the exact model number of the 512GB NVMe SSD? I just ordered this laptop but it seems that there will be shipping delays as I'm having it shipped overseas. I would like to know the component details before ordering any RAM/NVMe SSD upgrades.

@Leostat, would you be able to help with this? Thanks!

Generally that's not possie to do , as the exact bits used on the internals may vary from production run to production run depending on stock levels / costings I'm afraid!

Ram side , if it's 16gb though you would need a new kit as it would be 2x8GB , it should be running at 3200mhz and that's the max supported speed (at JEDEC 1.2v)

As for the nvme, there are two slots + one 2.5 inch bay so you should be good for pretty much anything!

@William_mk2 & @Leostat - Thank you both for responding. I'll reply to you both here.

I do not physically have the laptop in my possession right now. I ordered it & it's on the way. If I had it, yes, I would have scanned it or physically opened it to check the exact component models.

I did not know that different components may be used during different production runs. I am very familiar with the exact components/upgrades that are compatible, be it for the Wi-Fi card, RAM, PCIe 3 & PCIe 4 NVMe SSDs, and the 2.5" SSD/HDD bay. I just wanted to know, out of curiosity, what the exact models were, especially for the onboard 512GB PCIe 4 NVMe SSD, to use it as a baseline for a potential 2TB/4TB upgrade. I wanted to ensure that I get a faster model.

However, I think I will have to wait until I get the laptop to be able to identify the exact component models.

    Thank you once again!
