Acer AOD255E. My battery doesn't charge. I was advice to update BIOS, which I did (V3.16 (DDR3), 22.4.2011) and still battery doesn't charging. Charger is ok. I think problem started week ago after some kind of windows 10 pro update. I have RAM 2GB.
Thank you in advance.

Go to the elevated command prompt.  Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport'. Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer. Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser. Post screenshot of the first part of the report if possible that compares design full charge capacity with its remaining full charge capacity. Jack E/NJ

When I enter 'powercfg /batteryreport' I got message "windows cannot find 'powercfg /batteryreport'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
Normally after this message, I can't find it battery-report.html'

What is next? Obviously there's still room/live in battery.

Current estimate of battery life based on all observed drains since OS instal:
At full charge:      At design capacity:
    Active       Active
    6:01:20       12:37:47

With the laptop shut off, does the battery charge LED ever turn from solid orange to solid blue? It may take up to 8 hours for the color change to occur.

Sorry. If it never stops blinking or never turns steady blue after about 8 hours in the off state, the battery likely has an internal short and loses it remaining capacity (less than 50% of design capacity) very quickly. It needs to be replaced. Google search the keywords d255 & battery for vendors who ship to your location, Cost less than $20usd.
