Hi!

I tried looking for a detailed spec sheet for the E5-576G model that mention how many displays are supported at once, however there isn't seem to be any trustworthy information on the internet.

This laptop model has both VGA and HDMI ports, I'm wondering if 2 displays can be plugged into both ports along with the built in display? (3 independent displays including laptop screen)

    Specs aren't clear, So you just have to try it. You've already got a VGA monitor. So HDMI to a TV at the same time and find out. My best guess is two yes based on the graphics adapter. Three no.

    Hey, thanks for the reply!

    This was my first thought as well, I'm asking this question of behalf of a friend so I'll tell him to try to hook up both TV and VGA monitor once.

    Btw since there are no official information from acer, I looked up the specs of the cpu model (i5 8250u) and it does say;
    # of Displays Supported ‡ : 3

    However the footnotes say;

    ‡ This feature may not be available on all computing systems. Please check with the system vendor to determine if your system delivers this feature, or reference the system specifications (motherboard, processor, chipset, power supply, HDD, graphics controller, memory, BIOS, drivers, virtual machine monitor-VMM, platform software, and/or operating system) for feature compatibility. Functionality, performance, and other benefits of this feature may vary depending on system configuration.

    Moreover when I said 3 independent displays, I meant 2 external monitors along with laptop display all working at the same time. Not to be confused with 3 external monitors.

    Yes, I understood what you meant. The keyword is still "independent". Two yes. Three probably not.
