Hi, my laptop seems to drain battery while heavy gaming (especially playing games like Valhalla and Red dead redemption) even while plugged in. I read somewhere that it's normal. Yesterday the battery level reached to 80 percent while gaming. Is this normal. One would assume that gaming laptops would come with a better source power supply or this is a faulty model ?

Below are specs

acer Predator Helios 300 (PH 315-53 model)

Core i7 10th Gen - (16 GB/1 TB SSD/Windows 10 Home/8 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070/240 Hz)

Adapter - 230 watt

Please help me find a solution. I have spent too much time and money on this laptop.

I'm tired of reading this sort of "it's normal" thing over and over again. I bought an Acer Predator Helios 300 in July 2020 (2019 version of it). This drain while plugged in problem happens to me as well, and since then I have been searching for a solution, but everywhere I look I find this to be "normal". My friend has a gaming laptop from Lenovo, with exactly the same specs as mine, but his laptop doesn't drain, even in the most demanding games he plays. So how can his laptop not drain out of power plugged in and having the same performance as I do in games while mine does drain. This "this is how it should be" thing feels like a big lie if you ask me...
