Acer Nitro XV240Y Pbmiiprx Mounting Bracket Compatibility

Hello,

I am considering getting two Acer Nitro XV240Y Pbmiiprx 24" monitors and I'm trying to determine if they would be compatable with the mounting arm that I have. The arm I have is a Dual Monitor Arm from ONN (Model ONA18H0008 to be specific) and while the holes for the screws are compatable, I'm questioning on if I have enough space from the center of the hole to the edge of the mounting bracket.

From what I can tell, I have about 10mm from the center of the mounting holes to the outermost edges. I would like to know if this would be enough clearance for the arm, as from the pictures I've seen of this particular model, the mounting area is recessed into the monitor.

If the VESA plate you have is too wide to fit within the recessed area, just use some spacers to move the plate out a bit. You will likely need longer screws than you might have now, but they should be available in the metric section of any hardware store. If you can't find spacers, a couple of nuts in a larger size will work.

Yes, I thought about that as well. Getting screws and some kind of spacers/washers are easy enough, although if the area that's recessed is too deep, I'd probably be a little more wary.
My mounting plate is 120x120mm total (now that I've found the measuring tape and confirmed it)

Yeah, I don't see the size of the recess called out in the SG, but they're pretty standard. Often Acer includes spacers when they design an inset like that, but they are often the first thing to get lost when unpacking. :)

    Thank you for your help.
I missed out on getting these monitors at a good price from where I was ordering from, but I found another monitor that's appears similar. (The Acer XF240Q Sbiir found here: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/UM.UX0AA.S01 ) It looks pretty much the same monitor, just without integrated speakers.
