Hello, ive just purchased a ACER Swift 3 16.1" Laptop - Intel® Core™ i5, 1 TB SSD.
The currys website says that it comes with a 8 GB DDR4, with a maximum 16 GB maximum installable RAM.

My question is what RAM do i need to buy to add the additional 8GB RAM?

If all else fails, when its delivered i'll have to remove the base cover and have a look. Any comments will be appreciated.

Curry's says the model number is SF316-51, and Acer says the SF316-51 comes with either 8GB of memory or 16GB of memory, with no expansion slot. Curry's site is wrong when they say you can upgrade the 8GB to 16GB. :(

The laptop arrives today, so i'll un-screw the back and have a look to see if there is one or two slots? I'll drop a picture on also.

There is no expansion slot. Here's a picture of the motherboard from the service guide:
The memory is soldered to the board under that shield just above D connector.
