So I have been using this laptop gaming every once in a while since I have purchased it. I've noticed in the past that at times I am laggy when playing games. I thought it was the laptop's processing power being limited, but I recently found out I was wrong this entire time.

I've tested my phone, my wife's phone, her Dell laptop and my Predator laptop's internet download and upload speeds using the same Speedtest app. All the above devices get nearly exactly what I am paying for which is 500mbps of download/ upload speeds except my Predator laptop. It barely gets 140 to 150 mbps of download and 50 to 60 mbps of upload speeds. I've tried everything I could think of, but I can't get it to get speeds anywhere near what i am paying for.

Why???

Try to uninstall and reinstall your WiFi/BT drivers and/or update them to the latest drivers first, as there are allot of variables with internet speeds such as, your router, distance from ISP etc etc. Check all these aspects especially your drivers as these aspects could be at fault and/or your card could be faulty? Also and to make sure, try a LAN cable and pug it straight into your router to see if that is giving you the proper speeds? As and if the LAN works properly and to speed then the WiFi/BT card could be at fault e.g. the aerial wires have gotten lose or the card is not pugged in properly or the card is faulty but, these cards are very reliable and very rarely go wrong. Btw and as you haven't exsactly tol us the predator 300 model number? Most of the Predator 300 OEM WiFi/BT cards fitted to your laptop should be the "Intel 802.11ac Bluetooth FM Killer Wireless 1550i/INT9560.NGWG.NV – Acer part #: KE.11A0N.013" so try to get the latest driver for that card to update the card to the latest drivers.

I'm going to look into the drivers for this Killer Double Shot wifi card. I'm not sure what happened why I am having this issue. I've rulled out my anti-virus software being the issue due to the fact my wife and I use the exact same one. Also, all of my tests were done individually and at the same location from the router, which is only 20 feet away from it.

I'm not sure how to uninstall or update the drivers for this network card.

This model Predator is the PH315-52-72EV that was manufactured on 05/17/2019.

I found the issue. I feel dumb. My Killer control program bandwidth limits were set low. Raised them to 600 mbps and problem solved.
