I did fresh install of windows 10 version 21H1 on my PT315-52. After installing the drivers and windows updates the Predator Sense did not open after install. I made sure I had .net installed and the latest drivers from NVIDIA for my GPU. After reading the forum there are a few solutions that did not work for me.
This is how I got the Predator Sense working after contacting Acer support (which only wanted to send it to texas for repair)
1. Download the Predator Sense software, open the zip file DO NOT EXTRCT.
2. Create a folder on your C:\ drive like "psense"
3. Drill into the zip file folders until you see the Setup.exe file with the rest of the files and folders. Select all the files and folders and copy them to the new folder location C:\psense.
4. Make sure you have the latest NVIDIA drivers from NVIDIAs website
5. Download and install the Quick Access application from Acers support page under your model, this is important since its seems the Predator sense tool uses this
6. Uninstall Predator Sense if its installed and reboot
7. Now go into C:\psense and run the setup.exe by right clicking and click run as administrator
8. check installed applications, "Settings > Apps". You should see two installs; PredatorSense and PredatorSense Service. If you do not then you have an issue.
9. go into Services, click the search icon and type services.msc
10. Find Predator Service. Right click on click on properties then set startup type to automatic
11. Reboot
12. You should see Predator Sense in your start menu, click on it and it should open
Hope this helps others
