I had connected my phone to my LAP to share some files via USB Cable and after it was connected it showed a pop up that device is connected and it asked me share pics and some other option if you connect a phone to a PC . I selected the second one it was something called configure settings like that and after that my lap froze for 2 seconds and then started working again I thought I was going through my phone data so it lagged after I disconnected it my pc started lagging and freezing while using it . In TASK MANAGER  the ram utility and CPU usage everything is normal and low but pc is lagging and freezing sometimes. I scanned many times with my antivirus program but it didn't showed anything and told me there were no problems and viruses in my pc and done the same thing with windows defender and the result was same . But my pc was lagging . So , I decided to do a fresh start and reset my pc . But the problem persists I 've done the reinstall locally and also from the cloud . My PC is still lagging what should I do. I need help . I bought this pc few weeks ago and I am so worried about it

I believe the reason for the lag is because you are using a third party anti-virus program. Try uninstall it (or at least disable it first) and see if the lag persists.

Even though the Norton came with your Acer PC doesn't mean it is not a third party anti-virus software. I uninstalled the Norton anti-virus the first day I got my PC. I just use the Windows 10 Defender.

Have you tried to disable Norton and checked if there was an increase in performance. I bet it will.

Kindly try downloading Windows from a USB like a totally clean install and see if it still exists
