Open Control Panel. Search 'button' Click 'change what the power buttons do'. Click 'change settings that are currently unavailable'. Is the box for fast startup checkmarked?

Uncheck fast startup. Then download and install iobit's DriverBooster freeware to see if it pick's up any newer mainboard bus driver on line.

The drivers name is intel usb 3.0 enxtensible host controller
The date of driver version is 7/06/2021

Yes!!! Install it. It directly controls the  mainboard's USB bus!

Then it's probably an errant Win10 update. Open Control Panel again. Search 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point'. Is System Protection turned on in the box that pops up?

Good. Click System Restore button. Click next. What automatic restore points to you see? One must be associated with that usb extensible driver dated in July 6th.
