1) 2x NVMe Drives - 1 must be 2TB and the other can be between 512GB and 2TB
2) RTX 3070/3080
3) On-board Thunderbolt 4
4) RAM between minimum 64; better if it can go to 128 GB
5) At least one HDD. Ideally 4TB as a minimum

So, does anyone know if Acer has a Desktop that reaches these specs or betters these specs? TIA

We are glad that you are showing up your interest in purchasing a brand new computer.

Please visit the website - support.acer.com - chose your country - click on shop.   It will show you all the latest and new computers.    You can see all the models from low end to high end configurations.   You can look at all the models one by one.   Please chose the best one which suits your budget and needs.   You can also buy desktop, laptop, monitor and accessories.

Alternatively,  on the top right corner you can find the phone no to contact Acer store.   If you need more details you can call and check with them.

Some of the Predator desktops can reach those specs, though I haven't seen a SKU built like that. I think you would be better off to look at the ConceptD models. They'll have Quadro graphics instead of an RTX, so better at video and graphics work, not as good at gaming. They also support HDD hot swap (and those can be SSD as easily as HDD) and still have the M.2 slot on the MB for an NVMe SSD. The Concept model line is directly targeted at your market segment, the Predators are really tweaked for gaming.

Thanks for the info but it's not easy finding an Acer Desktop with Thunderbolt 4. And the question I send in via Facebook are given vague and unfriendly answers. Seems like they have engineers answering the questions instead of Sales/Marketing.

Why does it have to be from a certain brand? Depending on where you live, I'd see building a computer that meets your specific requirements.

I have a Predator Helios 500 which I upgraded its RAM to 64GB and I also added a second NVMe, a 2TB Samsung 970 Pro . I'm now looking for a Desktop cos I need a more powerful computer to get into 3D work.

BTW, I've had my Predator Helios 500 for 3 years + 3 months.

As you already know what a Predator offers, have a look at the new Acer range in your country and see if they are to those specs? IMO and as suggested above, you should build it yourself (if you know what you are doing?) as there are great options of Mobos to suit CPU's and T'bolt, 128GB Memory and NVIDIA 30 Series GPU's that suite your specs for video editing and much more.

The missing link is the additional NVMe SSD and Thunderbolt interface. A minimum of 64GB RAM is an occasional issue. If Sales/Marketing can confirm that these can be added via direct upgrade by Acer or with an Expansion Card then this is also good. Unfortunately, it's impossible to get any reply if the direct upgrade or Expansion Card option are feasible.
