Should I try SuzyQable reflash on CB 514-1H with "unexpected error" on recovery?

My CB 514-1H failed to boot. I went through the published sequence of trying recovery images on different USB drives etc. Paid 80 bucks (I'm out of warranty) to have support spend all day walking me through what I had already tried. I gather from this forum that the likelihood is the eMMC is hosed. Would it be worthwhile to try a reflash via a SuzyQable (if they ever appear for sale again), or would that just be good money after bad?

If the eMMC has failed the only solution other than a replacement motherboard is to find a really competent technician with excellent surface mount soldering skills and have them replace the chip. It likely won't be cost effective... :(

Thanks for the response. I understand and agree. My post was too ambiguous, - I should have asked, "How likely is it that the problem is other than the eMMC being toast?" I've read so many things where if you hold your nose just right and try different USBs or press the right sequence of keys 30 times or whatever. Which I did (time I'll never get back). Basically I don't have any firm diagnostic criteria. Unless in fact "unexpected error" is such a criterion. Anyone have experience with a reflash suceeding in such a case?
