this is a laptop, and it is through the wireless Bluetooth connection. it keeps on glitching in the settings, and the audio keeps on interfering as well as the microphone.

I had the same exact problem after Windows Update sent buggy drivers. Tried reinstalling bluetooth drivers but the problem still persisted. What I did next was I completely uninstalled the audio drivers and installed the latest ones from Acer's website.

Uninstall the sound driver from device manager.  Please uninstall all the items below the sound video and game controllers.
Restart the computer.  It should work fine..

If it is still not working
Uninstall the sound driver from device manager
    Dont restart the computer.
    Go to support.acer.com
    chose your country
type snid or chose your model

    Hi patgio,

Try to update the bluetooth driver and check the issue.

Hey guys, I also have an Acer Nitro 5 with this exact issue.

I tried everything. Bluetooth troubleshooter, uninstall/reinstall bluetooth drivers, fiddle with bluetooth services, reinstall drivers with latest drivers from Acer's product page, reinstall drivers with latest drivers from Intel's bluetooth page...

What fixed this for me was downloading the 1 GB audio driver file from Acer's product page.
