Aspire Restore Progress: Insufficient space on the disk

Acer Aspire 8951G-9600, Windows 7

Started getting 'Invalid partition table' on start up.

Ordered recovery CDs (lost the previous ones).    Acer eRecovery Management (V8.0.8)

During recovery, as soon as the final disk completes it's copying, I get the following (still during the Restore Process) :

"There is insufficient space on the disk for the tempoary files required for this operation."

Now when I try and boot up, I get:

"Windows failed to start.  A recent hardware or software change might be the cause".

  [portions removed]

  Status: 0xc0000225

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

Would this have anything to do with the Invalid partition table issue I had before trying the restore?

No, it's just looking for somewhere to install it. One large partition works fine, I've done it numerous times in the past.

Absolutely, I would suggest deleting any partitions on the drive and starting the recovery again.

    I see the following partitions:

    Disk 0 Partition 1: PQSERVICE           16G
    Disk 0 Partition 2: ARCADE               3.5 g
Disk 0 Partition 3: System Reserved  100 Mb
    Disk 0 Unallocated Space                 649.7 G
    Disk 0 Partition 4: ACER                   29.3 G

Should I delete ALL of them before running the restore?

As long as you don't have any important information on the disk that you don't want to lose and you have recovery disks to reinstall Windows I would say go ahead and delete all of the partitions. This will mark the entire drive as unallocated space. If you want you can now create a simple ntfs partition that spans the whole drive. This eliminates partition errors and you obviously won't see the insufficient space message considering you'll have roughly 700 GB free.

No, I don't care about the data on there, I just want to get it back to factory settings.

Is it important for it have specific partitions on there before running the restore?  Will it be looking for any of these partitions?
