the Rams that came with the PC are 16GBs Hyperx 2666V. I tried to find another pair to reach 32GBs but couldn't find the same speed in my country or even Amazon. I can only find 3000 MHz and above. is it okay to use different speeds?
and I also want to upgrade to bigger storage SSD card. Is Samsung 980 SSD M2. Nvme good replacement in terms of compatibility and efficiency?

I have Samsung 980 Pro 1Tb and 500Gb M.2 drives. I'm happy with the performance, but then again, I have x570 board and Ryzen 5950x CPU which both support PCIE Gen 4 speeds.

980 will work in your PC, but the transfer speeds will be limited to PCIE Gen 3 speeds. In real life this is in most cases few seconds here or there. So, no biggie. [EDIT: I see that this is not PRO, so transferspeeds won't be limited. My bad. ^^]

Are you planing on reinstalling Windows? You might also want to consider cloning/transferring your current drive to a new one. Go to HERE and look for Samsung Data Migration tool. I have used it few times and had no problems. There are other like it, but I prefer this one.

Unfortunately there is one big but. Since your PC has only one M.2 slot, you may need to visit a friend who has a board with at least 2 M.2 slots, or buy/borrow external M.2 SSD case if you want to clone your old drive to a new one. Personally I would recommend reinstalling Windows.

You can mix and match speeds as long as the higher speed is JEDEC and not xmp

Firstly, thank you for your help.
well, i have no idea what JEDEC means so let me do some research and get back on that.
Sorry. I am a graphic designer with zero knowledge of the computer hardware stuff.

Try searching on Amazon for "pc4-21300 16gb" instead of the HyperX keyword.
Click on "Like" if you find my answer useful or click on "Yes" if it answers your question.

I believe he will have some difficulties with your recommended RAM as it is SO-DIMM and meant for laptops.

I really appreciate your help. I was really worried going through all of this (although it may seem simple replacement for others ) but for a hardware newbie, its not.

I am going to re-install the windows as this is the safest and most efficient way as i read.

But this doesn’t mean i will lose my original copy of the windows system that came with the PC right?

    No worries! Happy to help.

Installing Windows shouldn't be a problem. Google "Create installation media for Windows" and follow the instructions. I think you should check that your Microsoft Account is linked to your Windows 10 digital licence as it will make things easier. HERE is some info about it.

Don't format your current M.2 drive before all is installed again and PC works as intended. When all is done, you might want to get an external M.2 nvme SSD "m key" enclosure. I have THIS, and although it is a bit expensive, it's built like a tank and very fast. You can get similar products from other manufacturers for 20 or 30 $/€.

I remember reading that some had difficulties re-installing PreadatorSense, but I have no experience of that. Let's hope all goes well and there will be no problems! ^^
