Hello, I currently own the Nitro AN515-44 laptop, and I'm considering upgrading it for Wi-Fi 6E.
  • Is it known whether or not this device has a BIOS-level Wi-Fi adapter whitelist?
  • If yes, is there a way to modify/disable the whitelist?
  • If no, would it be sufficient to simply replace the Intel AX200 card with an Intel AX210, or would there need to be more modifications required?

    Hi below some answers:
    1. No whitelist/blacklist is present on a BIOS level.
    2. Not needed.
    3. Should work out of the box

    Thank you.
For the time being I will be hunting for a WiFi 6E router for an affordable price before I swap the card, but if someone reading this thread has already done that, please share your experiences :)
