I tried disabling the sound through the device manager and have updated everything. I tried uninstalling the sound and restarting the computer. I do not know what else to do to get the sound to work. I can not use headphones either.

How long ago did you lose sound?

I truthfully do not know. I purchased the computer in March if 2021. I know I had sound in early July but that is the last time I know I had sound. I only use this for gaming and have not been able to play since early july.

Probably an errant Win10 update. Open Control Panel. Search 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point' in left pane. If SystemProtection is turned on in the box that pops up, click System Restore button. Click next. Do you see any automatic restore points with date stamps in the last 5 mos?

If none, try this. Turn the machine off. Remove charger. Insert a paperclip into the reset pinhole on the bottom for about 60 seconds. Plug the charger back in and wait for battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue. Turn it on again and check sound.

I had the same problem with my old Acer laptop. I tried installing and uninstalling sounds drives too but it didn't work for me at all. So, I took my laptop to the Acer store and they told me that the speaker was busted and they installed a new set of speakers.
I don't know if this is helpful by any means but I just shared my story.

Thank you all! I will try these and if nothing works I will send it to acer as I have only owned the computer since march of 2021.

Sadly none of these worked so I will have to send it in. I had a few different friends try and figure it out and no one could. Thank you for your suggestions!

Before sending it in, I would try an ALT+F10 erase everything cold boot reset. Backup any personal files on a USB stick. Then shut the machine down normally. Then turn it back on and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. A recovery menu should appear from the hidden ACER reset partition.

If the sounds reappears after the reset, immediately open Control Panel. Search 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point'. In the box that pops up, make sure System Protection is turned on just in case an errant update messes the sound up again. Then we can easily recover and block that errant update from re-installing.
