Have you tried to hold the ALT key and tap the F10 ?
Some of the newer Acer's, you may have to hold the FN key. Good Luck.

I got more hits by Googling on "acer aspire v5 571 no operating system found"
They involve getting into the Bios with the F2 key.

I think that they all involved changing for UEFI to Legacy Bios.
I was confused with your post if you're able to get into the Bios with F2, if not then I think that Alt-F10 will be your choice.

You do NOT want to change from UEFI to Legacy. That will totally break the OS.

Billsey: My bad for recommending the switch from UEFI to Legacy but I wonder if no other choice, is it worth a try ?

Unless you have tried a Linux install you should be able to get into the BIOS. You are obviously getting further than that or else you couldn't get the OS missing error message. That doesn't happen until after POST and during POST is when the BIOS launch key is active. Which version of the BIOS is installed? Those models came out during the change from Legacy to UEFI and some support one and other support the other. It really depends on which motherboard was used. Changing the BIOS from the original Legacy (1.xx) to the newer UEFI (2.xx) is not supported.
