my laptop is randomly acting like it's unplugged and plugged back in - Nitro AN517-51

so about a week ago, my laptop starting randomly acting like it was unplugged briefly then plugged back in. it mostly does this while i am playing a game on it, but it will occasionally hiccup randomly whenever i am doing other things. and the games i am playing whenever it does this hiccup, also lag a bit when it happens. it's actually really annoying now.
