Hi guys, I recently bought an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-45 2021 with Ryzen 5 5600H & GTX1650 4GB

So the issue I noticed was the overheating of the laptop. The CPU goes up to 80°C ( as shown on NitroSense) easily on gaming like GTA V with high settings, max out at around 92°C as well.
I would say the temperature was always around 85°C and I do not find it normal I guess? It should not be so hot? Room temperature is around 28°C.

The CPU is at around 50
°C when using normal usage like browsing, is that normal too?

I check with the device task manager and the GPU usage is always 0% for GTX1650 while the Radeon is at around 5% or more when gaming, which I suspect that if the laptop was using the Radeon Graphics itself for gaming and causing my CPU to overheat?

I tried to allow GTX1650 only for the particular app but does not seem to help.

Another issue was about the same thing and just right after I open the game (GTA 5), the laptop shows BSOD with some errors and it will reboot and show No Bootable Device. I have to force shutdown and power on again and it will work fine.

Me myself recently installed a new SSD Samsung 980 1TB with new installation of Windows and I think I do not have such issue when I was using the original Windows that the laptop originally came with. I also added an extra 8GB RAM 3200Mhz RAM to make it up to 16GB RAM.

Could that be drivers issues? I tried installing few times of fresh Windows installation but still getting BSOD for some time. It doesn't happen all the time though but only happens whenever I open a game where it will use GPU. Or could it also be hardware problem?

The laptop was very new and bought in July 2021. Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Update: This happens when plugged-in with charger. I just realize if I do not charge it while gaming, my CPU is only at around 65°C+-

you have the same model as me.
i had the same problem like you but i fixed it and now im playing at 55c to 70c with maximum sittings. 75c with stress test and i know it could be better but i dont have the time to make it better. here is how i did it.

    1. i got four vacuum coolers to suck the hot air out since this model have 4 vents two on the sides and two in the back.
    2. i got four 8mm dc fans installed under it for intake and dont use cooling pads i tried the most expensive ones they are not good enough to push the air in. dc fans are cheap and efficient.
    3. i repasted the cpu and gpu with thermal grizzly kryonaut.

dont power the fans and coolers using laptop usb. use another power source.
