Hi, I have a Predator Triton 500 PT515-52 with RTX 2070 Super Max-Q.

Since some days game started crashing when there lots of details, Fair Cry 5 crashes most often, I'm not even able to play it.
Now not even Time Spy is running, what I noticed is that when GPU clock reaches 1950MHz the core resets and goes back to 300MHz.

Time Spy error

OCCT 1 min GPU run gives a lot of errors, VRAM test works without any issues.

OCCT when running Unigine Superposition benchmark Extreme Mode, as you can see when it reaches max allowed clock frequency it crashes, if I stay bellow it will not crash but it clear that I want to be able to use full specs.

Those are the things I already did
- I already updated all drivers
- Tests 5 different Nvidia driver versions (451, 461.92, 466.77, 471.11, 471.68)
- Used DDU to uninstall drivers
- Reinstalled OS three times, now running Windows 10 with just essential apps to run tests
- Run RAM tests for hours (memtest86) and CPU to eliminate that as well.
- Also the GPU is never over 70 degrees, it usually sits at 64 Celsius when in full capacity.

What could be the issue? Am I not able to use the full potential of my new laptop? Could this be related to GPU issues?

Hi, just to close this topic.

At the end I had to use lower clock frequency than what Extreme mode actually sets :anguished:, it is not that lower but it is not what it should be considering is a new laptop.

I'm getting good results and game/benchmarks are not closing anymore.

For the optimizations, currently I will sticky to Killer Gamefast mode, which disables all Windows services that are not needed while gaming, removed all overlayer apps and set Nvidia Control Panel Power Management Mode to Maximum performance.

Here is a Time Spy results for my config: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/22243448

Hope settings doesn't need to be changed after some months.

Thanks @GAMING6698, I already added your guide to my bookmark for future reference.
