This is a depressing place for new Acer owners. Anyone want to report NO PROBLEMS with their laptop?

I have had mine for 3 months and am enjoying it a lot. I have installed the second NVME 1 TB SSD, I didn't like all the bloatware during boot up and tried romoving some so I had messed up the boot system and had to reload the Windows 10 system with a new install. I am older and partially disabled and have bad eyesight and I have mine hooked up to a Sony Bravia 75" TV through HDMI. The keyboard and mouse run over to my recliner. It's fast enough for me even though I'm not quick enough mentally for gaming. I switch between computer and TV all day long.
Anyone else?

I have owned MANY Acer systems

    Helios 300 2017 15"
    Helios 300 2017 17"
    Helios 300 2019
    Helios 300 2020
    Predator 15
    Predator 17
    Helios 500
    Triton 500
    Triton 300 SE
    Orion 3000
    Nitro 5

And haven't had any significant issues at all.
I've actually had such a consistently good experience that they've become my "go to" brand for many years now.

On top of that Acer USA is the absolute best customer support crew I've ever had and I'm in the IT/security industry on top of a traveler who is on the road 295 days a year avg. I've even met some of the mods here in person.

I believe the reason you only see "issues" here is because most people don't look for mfg. forums unless they are having one.. otherwise they are content crushing noobs and carrying on with life.

+1 to no issues with Acer

I'm the opposite, perhaps unlucky.  1 acer pc monitor years ago lasted about 6 months out of warranty.  Gave them another chance recently on a predator helios 300, had a few minor temp issues of things not working as intended perhaps to do with windows and not the fault of the laptop.  Then started noticing occasional screen flickers when just out of warranty, 3 yrs 10 months from purchase it's unusable. Cost me a grand that and was on sale at the time.

Acer support also one of the worst email support I've seen, instead of fault finding discussion, you wait for days to get a link to send your laptop to a repair centre.

-1 to acer 100% won't use this brand again.

Lol this is a support forum.  This is where people go looking for answers about why their stuff isn't working!  :)

I'm beginning to feel the same.  1 month out of warranty, my gaming laptop quit working.  Charger wouldn't power the computer or charge the battery.  Voltage checks at charger output and at motherboard pins show good voltage.  I opened a support ticket, fully prepared to pay for a new motherboard.  Acer told me they'd send me a box to mail it in for service.  A year later, I haven't received the box.  To add insult to injury, I tried to open a new ticket, and the web site says my SN is invalid...

They come here for answers and see everyone with broken Acers like their's. All these bad post's makes them think they bought the wrong machine. I just thought people would like to hear about some news about people that fixed there problems and had a computer that lasted a long time?

@Smegma11 completely agree with you this is a support community yes but lets also show that there are also many happy users without any issues.

Not a single issue since i got it in 2018 also have a spin 5 8th gen and aspire 5 10th gen also have a x27 and a atheon 500 no issues with any also no one is counting the probably millions that have acer devices and dont have any issues neither ever had as those will not be coming here to post anything  only a couple of 1000's in the acer world come to post its unfortunate but its nothing comparing to the big picture all manufacturers have devices with issues no exceptions :)

PS: also own some (museum pieces)  aspire 5740G PT variant i3-330m (my first laptop) also own another 5740G UK i5-560m and a  17" 7745G CH variant i got in Switzerland in 2011 4 x ram slots 2 x internal hdds i7 740qm (massive laptop could never find another with the exact same specs anywhere)  all those have radeon mobile gpus and all still work fine :)
