I just brought this laptop for like a week, doing some regular updates on it and having a good time playing games on it ... However, during my last Nvidia Driver update which is last two days (version 471.41, RTX 3070 GPU), apparently all games on Steam I tried to play either crashes or showcases a black screen but the audio is present (most steam games I play is Warframe, Monster Hunter World and Phantasy Star Online 2 : New Genesis). I tried playing Ubisoft games like Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and the same happened as well, it crashes so often. Even worse, every time I tried to open Discord, the application has a black box and keeps flickering to the point I cant use it so I think there's something to do with Nvidia Drivers causing the problems and left wondering if there is a way to rollback the Nvidia Driver updates or any way to fix this?

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine
    click on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..

Try and check whether it is working now ..

It it is still not working, please try the following steps..

    Try windows x
    go to device manager
    expand display adapter
right click on display driver - uninstall
    Restart the computer

    It should work fine..

If it is still not working
Uninstall the display adapter from device manager
    Dont restart the computer.
    Go to support.acer.com
    chose your country
type snid or chose your model
    go to drivers
    Install the display driver

Alright, managed to solve 85% of the issue by DDU uninstalling my GPU drive and installing the previous version of NVIDIA Graphics driver (from 471.41 to 471.11). Now, I would like to ask how to confirm that my game application is running on the RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon Graphics? Thanks

Another way of updating the driver..  You can do it in the future..   On the device manager - expand display adapter - right click on display adapter - click on update driver - chose the second option - browse my computer - chose the second option - Let me pick -   It will show you the list of updated display drivers..

You can always chose the old driver from the list..
